Wow a forward wing motion superbly captured. There is much dynamics here. The movement of the eagle's wings and a sense of propulsion in the forward capture. Great action shot. Well done.

Think this is so worth a six as the eagle in flight is so unique and the log gives this contrast of subject but they go together so well,i like the wingspan shown in this, well good photo...Brian

Unique pose of the eagle, anyway it intrigues me. Fine capture of it, providing a clear view. You all sure have a lot of majestic eagles and you so well photographing. Nice blue sky. Lovely driftwood. Intriguing, looks like a rock or two cradled in the driftwood.

This is an impressive capture. The stop-in-action is perfect. The movement of the Eagle is evident in the position of the wings. Your photo is excellent focused and exposed and has good depth. I appreciate the realism of color and light and the refinement of detail. The photo is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced.

This is a beautiful shot. everything is in focus and the eagle is up and flying. Those are powerful wings and talons. The shot is well framed and enjoyable to see. Thank you for sharing. Ray

Pat,
A beautiful stop action picture of the Bald Eagle taking off from the drift wood into the clear blue sky the sunlight highlighting it's white head & tail, yellow hooked beak & feet & dark plumage on it's wings & back. It's right wing casting a shadow on the side of it's neck. The drift wood has the look of a strange animal with two rocks in it's throat. While the end of another branch above the open jaw has the appearance of a dog's head with a long snout.(I think I'm letting my imagination run wild!!) Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques& sharp focus.
Susan
