Ah, a wonderful perspective, Steve. Yes, never forget to look up or in any other unusual direction. Beautifully framed with crisp and clear details and color. An excellent contest entry. Good luck!

very clever Steve to enter the ceiling of this cathedral into the "Unexpected angle contest";
I remeber when visiting Mexico longtime ago how my wife and myself were imressed by the Mexican church and cathedrals;

This is beautiful mixed photography and what fine angles within the gorgeous work in the Cathedral ceiling. Like those reds, blues, other colors throughout, especially in the center. Is that the sky peeping through or a beautiful color in the middle part. You deserve a "6" for such fine creation.

Great photograph of the ornamental dealings of the church in Mexico.
Great selection for the contest and so nicely presented with great details and natural colors.
The angle you selected and the choices of mixed media are great and fits the presentation so well.
Best of luck in the voting!

Excellent image of the ceiling above which has both intricate angles and patterns. The splash of blue sky in center adds to impact. Colors are great and the full frame composition is good.

Your mixed media is impressive. Your POV is extraordinary. The viewers look in ave at the architectural treasures above. How you used the lighting in order to amplify the colors of the cathedral is perfect. The blue center and its golden surroundings seem to glow with heavenly light. Your photo has impressive depth and is excellent focused, exposed and treated with mixed media. I enjoy the sharpness of texture and detail. The mixed media is expertly composed and framed. The composition is balanced.

It's the 'Looking Down' part that people rather foolishly forget about and that leads 'em into all kinds of trouble!
: D
That's a really nice looking picture though,Steve!

LOL!
You are so right about looking down. My problem is that I am always looking down and run right into things.. Phone poles...they often leave a mark.
Thanks for the review Sean ~ Steve

Wow, what a special content, with these outstanding sections in one single picture as you even showed us that all is even going much longer, so it seems that it is so huge that these three middle sections are well created with such a close up and so different inner pieces that I am wondering how you discovered this content as all sections are so special as this has certainly being created, so You found it to create this outstanding content, awesome result, my dear friend, xoxo

What a fine presentation of the distinct angles and curves in a domed cathedral. One has to admire all the engineering and skill that went into this construction and from what time period. Thank you for sharing, you always seem to have your finger on the pulse of things. Good luck in the contest. Ray Ray
