Interesting capture of the mural adorning the entire wall. The light and shadows, colours and, composition have worked out well. Thanks for sharing!

This is a fine remembrance of King William III. Let ambition fire thy mind, is a great saying and motivation tool. I have seen this before but I am still impressed. Thank you for sharing. Ray

Nik,
A beautiful picture of the King Billy mural in Belfast celebrating the Battle of the Boyne my ancestors fighting on both sides! Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Although I had often wondered why they don't paint the houses all different colours as in Bavaria for instance, on grey, dismal days in England /Brick is easier to look after/ and was a big fan of the ethnic murals on a corner of Sheffield, which the Council sadly covered in pale blue paint, thi sis not what I had in mind with its overtones of separatism. However, it is certainly dramatic and very interesting to one who enjoys history as I have always done, -yesterday makes today and today creates tomorrow!! Who painted it and when I wonder and obviously, the Council care well for it!

my son is on his way to Northern Ireland at this moment, for three days. I said to him- don't tell anyone you were an altar boy as a kid at our church /RC/ while you are there, he is a Hari Krishna Brahmin- now/means he has passed all sorts of tests so he can lecture everywhere/ When at Scotland Temple, the boss there, an RC Hari Krishna used to have a joke, when anyone new arrived he would ask, are you a proddy Hari Krishna or a Rc Hari Krishna. My son who is very serious not like his mother, who takes things very seriously used to be amused, but now he is a Brahmin, no longer jokes!! Catholics make the best converts to everywhere I am told by all sorts of religious sects..and as far as the Catholic church is concerned, remain catholic. Any English army in northern ireland now???????// grrrrrrr

A very clear image of the mural - there are some outstanding artworks I remember from our on/off bus tour of Belfast. Well composed with good focus, color and dof.

Beautiful sky with the whited and blue clouds. The Buildings and info are informative. Their colors and existence are okay. The one bush is also ok.

Interesting historical take. You got all in on your frame and so evenly. Kudus to you. If I try that something gets missed or its wonky. The details and colour are fine. The presentation really good.
