It is for sure red and so pretty. Water drops always are a point of interest. The Japanese Beetles about destroyed my roses in one day while I was gone. I got my revenge but not in time. Good job good luck.

Wish when a color contest comes up that other subjects come up rather than flowers,that said it is a good shot of this rose and the out of focus of the whiteness behind it highlights the red and of course adding water helps as well...Brian

This is simply a gorgeous rose and your added water drops are rather nice. The background shadows, whites, some darks are rather nice too. But, in the large version, the rose is stunning. Best wishes in the contest.
