A beautiful picture of the Dogwood blossoms on the end of a thin branch framed by their pink bracts glowing out from their dark background. The sunlight highlighting their beautiful colours. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus. Good luck in the contest.

Fine two dogwood blossoms for the contest entry. They are detailed with the pink blossoms and green podded center. The leaves are ok as is the stem/thin branch. The dark background causes it to pop. A few years back my husband planted two pink dogwood trees; the blooms were lovely and many in the spring. We also have a wild white dogwood that he transplanted to a more favorable spot.
