Well it is very blue, I can imagine bubbles in the application of the violet blue and the plainer streaks on the left a reflection in the aquarium glass. Very creative and appealing in the abstractincity of it.

This is a beautiful digital painting , i like the abstract and the face that we can interpret it as we see it, I do see an aquarium , nice fluid motion , good show of the lighting , I see three fish moving through, the colors are beautiful and well applied. For this being blue contest, I would say your entries strongest dominate color is purple. It is an interesting abstract never-the-less.
but based on what the contests wanted and your entry, lacking that dominate blue, it seems to me not to met the major requirement. in addition, not showing anything resembling items in an aquarium, for those reasons I am thinking the most I can award the piece is a 3.

I understand your critique. I thought since this shade of purple contains a lot of blue it would be appropriate for this contest. since I have the painting already posted at the contest, I cannot change the purple to an acceptable shade of blue but will try to fix the matter after the contest has ended.

Digital art continues to fascinate me in many ways. The title gives my mind a direction to go with the review story. The darting fish flash through the blue water with speed and purpose. The central figure looks like a mini manta ray. The lower fish is staying out of the ray's way to avoid injury. The bubbles of of the tank give movement and add some turbulence to the water. Beautiful scene. Good luck in the contest.
