This is a humerus image with the goose bottom up as it grabs food from below the surface.
The goose is well focused, the image is clear, the reason I took off half a point is because the white portion of the goose and some of the grasses on left are over exposed causing a loss of detail, I wish I knew how you set your camera for this shot , the camera let in too much light. If you were to try to correct this , by pulling back on the exposure in post processing, it will have no impact on those blow outs.
I'm sorry , because it is a cute entry for this contest!

It was a very bright sunny day, I never know how the setting is set on my camera. I set it on close up, because it was a close up of the goose, and I loved the white of her feathers, never noticed the white of the grass, the green had not yet come it as it was still early spring. Everything was still pretty brown in colour in the marsh that day. Thanks though for the review I went back and checked , the grass on the left is actually a very pale almost bleached light brown as it is early spring, there is no green yet in the marsh. Also the sun is shining directly on the goose and I kind of liked the white of her feathers from the sun, It was pretty sunny as I said, the sun was in springtime mode around 11 30 in the morning. Another reviewer actually told me the subject were not clear or focused, So, I am not sure what you people are seeing lol,,,,

A reasonable looking image posted here into the competition! Your fine and classical composition offers us an amusing view of that feeding duck. Exposure is fine but I feel the shot lacks sharpness. Otherwise, nice try and good luck!
