Amazing artwork!
Totally brings the emotions of the defeated man to the viewer.
But the color Red of the painting gives us hope that there is still energy and will to get up and continue to journey to win!

Yes, his body language speaks of a man who feels defeated, he feels hopeless, he's not sure what to do to get on a better path.
You show this very well , I agree people tell a lot in their body language, this is a subject that fascinates me.
I like the pale blue background and the warm rusty tones of the man.
Well arranged and presented! Best wishes to you in this contest !

I like the expression feel this painting offers. I like the blurred body and detailed arms and legs because it can be anyone who is struggling.

Thoughtful and creative - excellent entry for the contest! I can see this mans dejection very well and I admire the bold colors and shadows that you have used to portray him. Well done and unique!

Really wonderful theme and all but the right shoulder projecting without a lined suggestion of where the separation is such a fine contemporary piece. The larger hands suggest the burdensome weight as does that large shoulder, but I can't tell if it is the back or shoulder. Still fine artwork articulating the title.

This is a wonderful entry for this contest. It radiates defeat and tells a story all on its own. Framed well. Great colors. Just the right amount of detail. Well done.

A good looking image posted here into the competition! Your fine and full composition does project an strong air of despair. Colours, textures and tones are good. Well created and good luck!
