Some history:
It was the city's Fountain of Neptune that inspired the Maserati Trident logo, symbolising both Bologna itself and the automotive brand. In about 1920 Maserati needed a logo that would ensure that its new car would stand out from the crowd.
When the trident on the Maserati logo is on a white or silver field, it represents the land, where Maserati vehicles rule the roads. The red trident symbolizes the fiery power of the Maserati, which delivers unparalleled performance on highways from Rome to Chandler, and around the world.

This car emblem is awesome, it is simple yet to the point.
You have photographed it well with good focus, the image is sharp and clear, exposure is well managed, colors of the metal and the red stripes appear true.

Thank you for this information , it is interesting . I appreciate it, the Maserati is a vehicle that I have never seen in person. I have always thought of it as a luxury car that only the very wealthy would own. I like knowing the meaning behind the emblem.

A symbol of the ultimate in auto perfection. Have only seen a few but those I have seen looked like there were fluid motion even when standing still.
