I must say this looks to surrealistic and actually almost too perfect to be real. It looks more like digital creation. Goodness what spectacular gardens -- I just looked the up on the Internet. Do you remember what kind of plant this leaf belonged to?

This was a good picture of a leaf. But too zoomed in. The lighting and the sharpness is very well done. It looks very professional. But I like seeing a little background.

I respect your opinion. This is a macro shot, it's suppose to be zoomed in, with no disturbance for a background. But I do respect your opinion. Have a great day.

Kudos to you for displaying the intricacies of the abstract nature can provide us with in the not so simple structure of plants, in this case a leaf. Your zoom in has given a view of the pattern and varient shades of green to present in a very enjoyable way. I can see this as a large print and framed in a thin slim black surround.

I think this is a photo with a strong visual impact because of the vibrant green colors, and I also like the close and personal approach and the simplicity.
The photo is sharp showing clear and well defined details, and you have also brought out so well the textures of the leaf. The exposure is perfect.
The tall and thin format is working well, and I like the slight diagonal placement of the leaf within the frame. I think this is a great looking and well taken photo, and I wish you luck with the contest.
