This landscape is gorgeous. The mist adds a magical appearance. Anything could be hidden within this thick white curtain. It would not surprise me, if unicorns emerge. Your photo has good depth and is excellent focused and exposed. I enjoy the realism of color and light and the refinement of detail. The tall format emphasizes the rough landscape profoundly. The photo is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced.

Ruth Ann,
A beautiful & atmospheric picture of the wind tossed water fall over the very high waterfall framed by trees on either side the sun's rays glowing through the spray & mist The trees on the right also seen through the mist. Over had the blue sky seen in the gaps between the high flying clouds. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Gorgeous, simply gorgeous scene and a very skilled capture of it. I really like the sky, the sun reflecting off the mist and the sunbeams lighting that mist. The sky, trees, and rocks are nice too. Fine work indeed!

You have earned this one. The capture of the light source makes the scene almost perfect. This is a wall hanger. The construction of the scene gives this scene a great DOF. The forefront rock formations topped with the pines anchor the scene. The rising mist is the star of the shot and makes this a fabulous piece of photo art.

Another fantastic looking nature shot, but there again, I have to admit that I have a soft spot for photos with mist. The rays from the sun coming from behind the pines on the left are so well captured, and also the sky looks great.
The photo is sharp showing clear and well defined details in the rocks and the trees, and the exposure is very good.
You did a fine job to remove the blown out areas, and I also like the tall format. The framing is perfect, and it is a fine balance in the composition. A truly lovely and well taken photo Ruth Ann, and with an excellent DOF. I wish you luck with the contest.
