This sweet little Canary seems to enjoy the salad, and you have pictured this sweet scene so well. A pity with the salad leaf behind the bird's tail, but it is standing out from the background in an excellent way.

The photo is sharp and it is clear and well defined details to be seen in the feathers of the bird. The exposure is perfect.

The photo is nicely cropped, and the bird has got a fine placement within the frame. A truly lovely and well taken photo Eileen, and with a very good DOF.

Clever title. The canary is not a bird that Michigan is acquainted with. Our canaries are usually in a cage. The tight crop is good, and the scene is busy with supporting the bird. At first glance, I had to figure out what I was looking at. The little guy could almost be in camouflage. Focus and lighting work well.

I had a canary as a pet years ago. This one is just lovely and I like it's color pattern. They are such delicate little birds.
Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is correct, colors and tones appear natural. I can see it has a bit of lettuce in its beak.
Well composed and presented!
