This is a lovely photo of the veggies and paprika and there is nice shades of green. I like grey background as well.
I think i would prefer to see a table that the plate is sitting with shadows or at least some added shadow on the grey background for the plate and the overhanging onions.
Otherwise, great job. I really like your choice. Good Luck Artist friend.

Before I opened this photo I just knew it had to be an entry into a green contest, and I really like all the different shades of this color. I also like the neutral background, because it makes the plate stand out so well.
The photo is sharp with clear and well defined details in the vegetables. I also think the exposure is very good.
It is nothing wrong with the composition either, but the job you have done isolating the plate and the vegetables is not the best. Especially around the paprika on the right.
Still a nice and well taken photo Glena, and I wish you luck with the contest.
