A creative idea indeed. Yu have turned the tin of a cookie box into a work of art of lovely deer.. Bravo. The light and shadows, colours and, composition have worked out well. Good effort!

Annie,
A beautiful picture of the Fallow Deer with what appears to be snow falling around it. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera & digital artist's techniques & sharp focus.

You took a great photo of the picture on the lid. No glares. Awesome. It's soft and pretty.

Fine details and love the snow.

Beautiful

I remember those tins of buscuits..regular items on sale prior to Christmas down our way.. Good use of mixed media software and a very honest title for your submission

You collect indeed most unusual objects. The Deer seems to look at the viewer through a frosted window. There seem snowflakes swirling in the air. The Tin reminds us that the Jule season is nearly upon us. Your photo is excellent focused, exposed, and treated with mixed media. The mixed media is perfect composed and framed. The composition is balanced.

The tin with the endearing buck, his horns, lovely face, fine coat with spots and snow sparsely around. The frame does make it look like a painting. Thanks for sharing.

This does present as a framed painting, it is amazing that it was the lid from a tin of shortbread, the deer is beautiful and it appears to be a wintery scene with a snowy sky .
Your use of mixed media effectively transformed the tin into a lovely painting, this would be perfect if hung for display in a log cabin. I like the warm. Tones of the deer combined with the silvery white winter background .
This would also make a beautiful greeting card.
Well presented!

I love this painting. It conveys a feeling of solitude and calmness. I can almost here the sound of the snow hitting the forest floor as it would be peacefully quiet. The deer seems to have appeared out of the snow while enjoying the solitude of the snow covered forest. Beautiful

A good looking nature image posted here! Your fine and classical composition offers us an enjoyable view of that cold looking deer. Bet it is wondering if it will get some of those tasty biscuits?! Well created!
