Your mixed media is interesting. Due to the monochromatic, your photo has the appearance of an old newspaper print of the 1900's. Your photo has good depth and is excellent focused, exposed and treated with mixed media. I appreciate the realism of light and the refinement of detail. The photo is well composed and framed. The diagonal presentation of the soldiers pleases the equilibrium of the viewers.

I think black and white was the perfect choice for this one as it supports the subject matter.
You have captured the soldiers well , they are well focused, this image is clear, exposure is correct, I see good tonal variations.

You know when I see your photos of these reenactments I see old men, but in actual fact the solders where in their teens. But I like the concept here and a great way to present it in black and white
