Great macro shot here of a teeny weeny spider. I don't think he realizes or cares how small he is! As far as he is concerned he is on top of his hosta world...very cool shadow!...

This has really come out well. It has a good focus and the details are all there even though this spider is so small. I like the green exposure, it certainly helps to pop that little guy.

I wanted to keep the reality of the teenie spider. My first time entering this type of contest. I now see that they meant teenie weenie but enlarged. Oh well. I guess better luck next time for me. It?s fun anyway and I love the feedback. Thank you so much.

I think your interpretation of the competition is fine. A macro shot would be ok akso, the end result is what matters and this has a place too.

I always think of an :itsy bitsy" contest to show your subject a lot larger... but I love this little jumping spider on the Hosta leaf. He's got the perfect place to run off and hide in. Love how you shot this with just a little room on the left. The focus and clarity are top notch and your eye is drawn right to the spider. The shot is very cool with great presentation!
