This is an intriguing image and a great entry for this contest. I like the light and shadowed portion of this light fixture.
You have photographed it well with good focus, this image is clear, exposure is correct, it does have a bit of an eerie feeling , I like the warm tones surrounding the lights and the way that shadowed portion stands out .
Well composed and presented! Best wishes to you in this contest!

A very interesting silhouette photo. I like the light bulbs between the spikes. Good focus. I like the contrast of the light bulbs and glow against the dark background. This is a good photo.

Me gusta, la iluminación y el sombreado es perfecto. Me parece una creación de 5 estrellas. Bien por el creador. Que siga asi, bien echo. Queremos mas

This is definitely a rather eerie shot as you said. I am not sure what exactly I am looking at, but it is well focused and positioned. Almost looks like the head of the Statue of Liberty.

This appears to be an art-deco sconce. Nicely photoed. This is part of a design theme within the government building which was fashionable at the time. Very nicely presented. good luck in the contest. Ray

Interesting piece. I like how you captured the light and how the dark is reflected through your piece. It's very eye pleasing. Good job and good luck.

A very interesting photograph indeed. I like that the shape of the light fixture is illuminated by the bulbs and creating the shadow shape, which is very eerie. A good entry into the contest. Good luck.

Thanks very much for the kind review. I'm not much of a mixed media photographer but I'm glad I did OK.

I like this even though it is an older shot but as you say you have never shown this, and its probarly one that you saw by chance and decided it was worth taking, the lack of detail adds to the mystery of this one, good one...Brian

Thank you very much. You are somewhat correct. I have over 500 photos on my website, all are originally done by me. Actually myy older w0orks sometimes sell better than my recent. And the guidelines for this contest doesn't say only newer photos are allowed.

A good looking image posted here into the competition! Your fine, full and appropriate composition offers us an interesting view of an intriguing object. Initially I thought it was connected to the Statue Of Liberty! Well created and good luck!
