A very pleasing and attractive photo Susan! I love the muted colors and bold silhouettes of the trees against the gray sky. The moon is gorgeous covered with misty clouds and its color is a bold accent to the sky. Beautiful work in the framing giving your short excellent highlight. Thanks for sharing your talented shot!

We used to hunt raccoons in Missouri during the full moon with hound dogs. The farmers didn't like them because they got into their barns, stole grain, and ruined hay. The pelts sold for about $45 each, which to a college student in the 1970s was a lot of money.

A very "warm" moon in the mist, not the pale orb I usually think of. A real light in the night's sky over the rolling silhouette of the trees. This has a nice feel to it. It is nicely framed! Thanks for sharing...

This is a beautiful capture! Whenever I try, the moon always comes out too small, a dot in a black sky! Lol

You have pictured the Hunter's Moon so well Susan, and it is really glowing in the darkness. It is so lovely to see a hint of clouds in from of it. I like the simplicity of this photo, and also the very special atmosphere.
The photo is soft and sharp at the same time, and silhouetted landscape and the moon are standing out well from the dark sky. The exposure is perfect.
The photo is nicely cropped and with the moon off to the left, it is a very good balance in the composition. A truly lovely and well taken photo.

Lovely shot of the rising moon, Susan. We had some fantastic views of the moon rising, peeking out amongst the clouds here in our area also last week. Did look rather spook at times. I like your composition and the foreground trees visible.

The moon is skillfully captured with the fine layers of wispy clouds. The balance of the scene is well constructed. Having owned a frame shop for 18 years with my wife, I appreciate the framing/mat with the title line.
