One of my favorite lighthouses on the Great Lakes. I spent a week in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan photographing lighthouses, waterfalls and Fall colors. Someday, I will get to Spilt Rock lighthouse at sunset. If we could add a classic Lake Superior storm, all the better. The perspective of your painting is the angel I would love to photograph it from. This peaceful scene of Lake Superior is about to change as the Winds of November come calling. Most enjoyable.

You, like me, have been bitten by the Great Lakes bug I see. I just love photographing any of the many natural features around the lakes. The lighthouse can be seen in so many different weather events, changing the mood dramatically. A storm, snow, fall color, full moon, etc. Glad you stopped by to share your feelings. Thanks.
