A good journalistic type photo and although it would have been my choice to photograph the man i do like you have his wife in because with her expression it does tell a story as such...Brian

    Thank you again Brian.

I liked the colourfulness of the woman and the ancient caravan - given a choice I?d prefer to remove the modern caravan behind. Ha ha but I had no choice at the time.

This is an amazing still life photo capturing a mundane lifestyle and simple working people with mundane jobs. It brings rich Fall colors and a hint of melancholy to an otherwise kind of depressing scene.

Thank you so much for your review, I really appreciate it.

I find it really interesting that you find it a melancholy and slightly depressing scene, while for me it was so inspiring to see that for some at least, their way of life is continuing, despite the pressures put on these people to become more of the norm.
It?s fascinating how differently people observe the same things! Thank you :)

Your photo is interesting. Apparently, this couple travels through the country, and stops were the man find work and knifes to sharp. The couple seems to take good care of knife grinder. Your photo is excellent focused and exposed and has good depth. I appreciate the realism of color and light and the refinement of detail. The photo is well composed. The tight framing is adequate. The composition is balanced.

Thank you so much for your lovely review. Yes the condition of the knife grinder was great to see, and their ancient caravan was the same, and absolutely spotless inside. A proud people I guess.
