Ooooh I Iike this. He's perfect in Opaque with the dark background lippy snarl and all. I always liked that he did his lip that way -smile. You captured him in all his sexy glory. His eyes are furrowed and full of naughty mischief. Your cousin must have freaked when she saw this painting. You did him pure justice.

It is really nice to have you back Linda. I have not seen anything from you in ages. You have indeed pictured Billy Idol well, and I am sure your cousin is very pleased with the result.
I especially like that the background is completely black, and also how well you have used the light. Of course this drawing is done paying a very good attention to details.
The format and framing is perfect, and Billy is well placed on the paper. A truly great looking and well done graphite drawing. So sorry I have run out of my 6 stars ratings.

Such a lifelike rendition of one of my favourite 80's music legends, right down to his trademark sneer. Your attention to detail is amazing, from his jewellery to his punk hair. I'm sure Mr. Idol would love this!
