Aas saoon as I saw this , I knew what you were doing. I read the contest rules and wondered who would be creative with this contest. The faces are what make this a great white on white scene. THere is almost a halo around each face which makes the animals jump off the screen. The falling snow is backlit and again gives a feeling of depth. Nice job. Best of luck in the contest.

I think this is a fine entry into this contest, and I especially like that it is presented in black and white, and also how well you have done the snow.
Momma and baby wolf looks so sweet, and I like how well their eyes and noses are standing out together with the branch on the right.
The format and framing is perfect, and with the fine placement of the wolves, it is a very good balance in the composition. I think this is a lovely and well done water painting, and I wish you luck with the contest.

I truly love how you've captured the sense of protective mother and curious cub. Mom is looking at her surroundings while cub is focused on whatever has caught his eye. The shading and brightness is well done and the snowfall is a wonderful way to blur out the background (and foreground) giving the eyes a powerful impact on the entire image. Beautiful!
