A beautiful picture of the Bombus Impatiens after visiting a flower with pollen laden stamens. The light sparkling in it's eyes & glistening on her gossamer wings while highlighting her thorax with pale buff coloured bristles & dark abdomen. Standing out from the green foliage it's alighted on.
Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

The format you have cropped the photo into works well, and the bee has got a fine placement within the frame. It is a lovely and well taken photo, and I wish you luck with the contest.

An excellent close up of the bee covered in pollen. Like the shadow on the leaf and the focus is sharp on the eye. The lighting and color are great. Well composed image.
