This is a pretty work with well done colors that help us feel the cold, the variations of gray flow well and are pleasing especially with the contrast of whites and reds. Finely crafted details and an interesting mix of creative ideas. Lovely, best wishes for the contest!

I love your piece!! I have only ever been to the snow once in my life, but this piece makes me feel like I'm right there!! I love the pop of red color on the snowman. I also like how the details of the face are the most in focus, everything else is slightly distorted from the snow, I love that it brings your attention to the subject slightly off center, it's a beautiful touch. I also like the animals in the background, and that you decided to create trees. I feel like it's really hard to create depth and distance when a majority of the background is a single color but you did a great job!

I love your piece!! I have only ever been to the snow once in my life, but this piece makes me feel like I'm right there!! I love the pop of red color on the snowman. Recreating memories is such a wonderful feeling. The scene tells a great story and preserves happy past experiences. The realism of the lady's face and action of getting ready to throw the snowball is so well constructed. The entire scene is well balanced and give great DOF.
