This is so cool! A few years back I got all into shooting doors and windows! Here you have focused on the ornate doorknob , what a clever entry for this contest! You have brought out every detail in the doorknob and mounting plate. I can almost feel the texture of the knob , I like this and I bet it could even be opened wearing gloves because of the way it is textured!
This is of course, well focused, this image is clear, exposure is correct, colors and tones appear true. Well composed and presented!

This is a beautiful ornate doorknob attached to the door as a display. The knob is relief impression darkly finished, attached to a relief molded plate. This looks cool and maybe both molded brass. Very classy brass piece. Thank you for sharing and good luck in the contest. Ray

Makes me feel good knowing there are still people who value craftsmanship and quality.
The door that it is affixed to is made of solid wood. They were heavy and when you slammed one people knew about it. The honeycomb sandwich doors just aren't the same - no mass.
Nicely framed composition in fine period colors.
