Thanks so much for your excellent critique and high rating, I appreciate it greatly! Mr. D is a purebred Blue Heeler, compact at 30 lbs and standing about 30 inches high. He is beautiful, thanks again!

That's a beautiful portrait dog! Mr. D is indeed handsome and I think you captured his personality really well. Remarkable lighting and colors! The eyes are amazing . I don't know if you applied dodge and burn on them , but they stand out beautifully . The vignetting/ texture wasn't necessary. There was nothing to distract the attention of the viewer, it only makes it darker... but that's just my opinion again.

Thanks so much for your comments and opinion on the vignetting - I have received another similar comment as well. My intention is to print this on tin so the darkened vignette will offset well with the lighter color under it I think! Appreciate your thoughts as always! :-)
