Thank you so much, artist friend Mark. I intended to enter into lines and circles art but there were glitches on the site and then my computer crashed, so with the long work, I am glad I can enter into the black and white contest.

Yeah any technical issues that you ever have contact Tom. Another bit of advice, when you post your work go back and view that the post went thru. It's like your pretending to view that post for the first time. The second the you have a issue and contact Tom it will save you precious time exposures for review. Remember that post has a time limit on it and you would hate missed reviews because of the post not going through. Something to think about in future reference..wink

Thank you again, artist Jesuel. I meant to enter this work into the line and curve contest but there were glitches on the website and my computer crashed so I entered into this contest.

I like the subtle starkness of this piece. The emptiness of the boulevards leading lines draws the viewer in. The scene imparts a sense of quiet. So quiet your foot steps echo, and the rustling of things on the wind is all you hear.
I lived in cities but was never a city kid. This piece is a reminder of that time, thanks for the trip back ... Bob

Thank you, artist friend Bob. I appreciate your fine review full of prose. What encouraging words and reminiscent to me also, of my love of writing as well. You have made my day too. (I originally intended to enter it into the lines and circles contest, but about two days before the deadline came, I couldn't upload this work; there were glitches in the site and my computer crashed; therefore, because of my much work, I entered the black and white.)

Hey there Glena!
This is really well drawn line art. The one-point perspective is well shown and creates some nice depth for this street view. A good resource I like to follow is circle line art school on Youtube. The instructor gives nice tutorials and it helps open up more ideas for drawing. This is well done Glena! Good luck!

Thank you, artist Brady, for your fine encouraging review. Yes, I have been there and watched a couple or more times. There is fine instruction and work there. I appreciate your work too. My best to your lovely family. Lovely and intricate sketch Glena and so moody. You know the artist is special when their creations transport you and fill you with emotions, taking you to places you either have never been or would like to return to. Incredible work.

An excellent entry into the contest and you have definitely achieved good perspective of the street. Like the way you have historic buildings and more modern in the mix. Good detail throughout work.

The details of this drawing are amazing. I think the computer did you a favor. I love the line drawing in b/w. Each side has a different feel as if you drew two sides of different cities. The DOF works as the preceptive is scaled perfectly. Nice job.

Thank you so much, artist friend Gary. I only resized in the computer, a little lightning, I think. I even drew circles outside the computer.

Very well done. I like that my eye goes straight down the middle. It makes me wonder what's ahead! Great detail and true artistic talent.
