Wow!! Ray this one just keeps on giving. I know the holidays are upon us again and all the material rituals will drive us all to the brink of madness.
This piece puts that all in perspective for me.
I mean I see in the background all the noise and superficiality that makes us numb and unmindful of what the beauty of this particular holiday truly represents.
Then your brush takes me forward to that one day when we try to be what we always knew we should be. That one day when if we allow it to can free ones soul.

Wow!! Ray this one just keeps on giving. I know the holidays are upon us again and all the material rituals will drive us all to the brink of madness.

I wish I had a six left for this Christmas ornament feast for the eyes. I did something similar two years ago but didn't use clear ornaments - genius! I love it.

Jewell thank you for the wonderful and thoughtful review and rating. This was an old abstract that I did several months ago that I set aside for future inspiration and repurposing. I was looking to do ornaments, I had preliminary sketches ready to go. I picked up this abstract and found five great points of interest, which I call figments and I had a paper plate with a hole in it and I used that as a frame, moved the plate around figured out all the positions, and that is how it came about. Sometimes things just happen and you just have to go with it, like a journey.
