Cool,Ray!
SUPER Cool.in fact! : D
This "well carved notch" makes me think of the mythical "Gates of Horn and Ivory" that are said to leag into ,'The Dreaming',the realm of the Great Lord Morpheus!
I Like It!

Yes. The textures and the resultant colouring created by you make this interesting to keep viewing and imagining many scenarios. You have captured the essence of the mystery in this painting. Good effort! Good effort!

I like the technique. This Early Passage has some creepy things going on. Like is see skeletons carrying off skeletons while having a conversation with little skeleton. I see a ghost a guy a baseball cap sitting in a chair and there is a green Marian sitting next to him. Many creep crawls around too. There is a very skinny so man talking to the man in the chair. Looks like you have to walk over a very iffy looking bridge to get to that early passage.

Kind of a place I wouldn't want to go. Yikes.

Colours are great. This piece is great.

worthy of a six. Not replenished yet.

Thanks Ray for sharing.

I would say that you have seen it the way it was intended. Those ghosts and skeletons are the spirits of those who died too young to experience the joys of life. Venturing out on their quest to experience. You used the expression green Marian, well a Marian is a virgin, like the Virgin Mary. I think you meant Martian, but your misspell was right on. Thank you so much for your wonderful review and I am so glad you enjoyed my fantasy. Ray

I feel like this is the roots of a large tree that are protruding out of the earth, and they lead to the opening of a cave . I really like the textures here they give definition to the tree roots. I love the colors and the way they show the light and shadows. Well created , successful experiment . Well presented!

Pat I did this on a jelly pad that is used for one time printing, It has an oil base to it and it transfers pictures, paints and ink very well. The texture came from a roller. I had so much fun with this one. Thank you for the wonderful review and I am glad you like it. Ray

A good looking view of a river bank posted here. Your fine and full composition shows that there is a large tree trunk on each side of the river. Colours, textures and tones are good. Well painted!

Wow, this is an impressive painting with a new technique.
The ridges and contrasting colors are creating a beautiful flow, maybe a waterfall in a lush forest. Ray, I don't know what Jelly pad is, but it did help you to create beautiful, unique artwork!

Thank you for this wonderful review, the jelly pad is clear pad of jelly type plastic that is firm and has an oily feel and transfers pictures and paint in a print process, google it and you will be surprised what it can do. I am so glad you enjoy this. Ray
