Your capture is well framed. The bird is still visible and not blotted out. The sun rays are just magnificent.
Camera settings handled the glare and kept white balance from in check. Nice range of brightness - nothing blown out.

Wonderful initial impact, I like the way the setting sun lights up the winter sky and love the way the light bounces on the sea .I see a bird up on the dock post .

It is a skilled capture of a beautiful, unique sunset, winter, and the sky aglow with that light. The dinghy shows well and the water is nice, but the sky and lighting there add so much to it. Best wishes.

Thanjnyou Glenda for reviewing and your comments. I was puzzled about the dinghy as I was in the dinghy taking this then I saw the shape of the pier and it has a boat shape but it is a pier with a navigation post and a seagul on top Your review made me look at this in an entirely different way. Thank you.

Well, I wrote what I could see best and understand it involves the pier in a boat shape. But the sky and all it holds is lovely and what it casts on the water.
