Squirrel on a tree

The title is fitting for such a fabulous shot of this curious squirrel.
The lighting is perfect, balance and centering aligned well. A moving target such as this little guy requires quick captures. Love the colors and blurred sky.
Thank you for sharing.

Good shot. You stayed in focus - was the squirrel really that close to you? It can be a little unnerving when they get so close, as you are not quite sure they won't jump on you. LOL. I get this same look each morning when I fill the sunflower seed box on my live oak tree in the backyard. I have at least one waiting for me every day.

no much editing? really ?
once again, an excellent and funny capture in the wild but unfortunately, once again, an unpleasant blue cast on the squirrel hair (that most people on this site don't see or don't want to see);

    Thanks. And yes, not much editing. I?m more of a traditional photographer. I do respect your opinion though.

A good looking image posted here into the competition! Your fine and classical composition offers us an enjoyable view of that squirrel studying something. Textures, colours and tones are good. Exposure and sharpness are fine. Nicely taken and good luck!

This photography is so skilled and the subject darling, indeed a naturally cute squirrel. The wood perch is nice and the background light and colors are nice and lighten and enhance him. Best wishes.

Finally a squirrel take that isn't of him standing on its hind legs looking like a tiny human in a fur coat - excellent shot.

The focus of this little guys face is sharp and all aspects of its face are clear and sharp. The f-stop is just enough to render the background slightly out of focus - Marvelous.

What I really like about this take is the position of the squirrel, it is different and not normally seen at this upward angle - it sparks the viewers interest.

Good job ... Bob

A beautiful picture of this beautiful & curious little Squirrel peering around the branch or tree trunk with rough bark the light coming from behind the trunk & the squirrel is sparkling in it's eyes while highlighting it beautiful fur. So it stands out clearly from the blurred background. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.
