Thus is a nice shot and a great entry for this contest! Nicely balanced and composed. The colour and tones are natural! You seem to be a little front focused on the stump, but it isn't too distracting. All the best to you in the contest

The curious little squirrel looks so sweet, and you have pictured it so well. It is posing for you in such a lovely way, and is also standing out well from the softened background. I also like a lot the fine textures you have brought out in the wood.

The photo is sharp showing clear and well defined details in every part of the squirrel, and the exposure is fine.

The format is very good, and the squirrel is well placed within the frame. It is a sweet and well taken photo with a very good DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.
