I think this is a fine entry into this contest, and I especially like the simplicity and your limited color pallet. The background looks great and the dragonfly is standing out from it in an excellent way.

It is fine details to be seen in the dragonfly and the plant, and you have used high lights well. I also like the translucent look of the wings.

The format works well, and dragonfly has got a fine placement within the frame. It is a lovely and well done digital painting, and I wish you luck with the contest.

I have reviewed a lot of dragonflies, but mostly as photos, and also mostly with open wings. You are more than welcome for the review.
