Outstanding shot. You must have been ready to capture this one or you hit the ground hard to nail this moving target. The POV is outstanding. Your comment of lining up the dark green door was a very effective point of interest. The soft focus on the greenery gives the right amount of light to highlight the cat's fur. Outstanding shot.

Thank you very much! Yes, I was ready for her with my camera held down on the ground by its strap and looking at the screen instead of through the viewfinder.

This is a fine capture of the beautiful colors of oranges, yellows, darks, and whites. The eyes and expression of the cat are lovely. The way you treat the foreground grasses and blurring adds to the beauty.

Your f/stop choice was a good one for you got exactly what you were looking for - Kudos.
What makes this shot come alive is the low angle, that is the key to small pets and children. Its the low angle that gives the cat on the prowl expression with all senses fired and alert - A fine example of goal oriented framing.
All your other settings are well programmed and contribute to a fine piece of pet photography.
Color, contrast and lighting are well coordinated and appear natural and un altered in tint and tone.
Now, here is what impresses me most about what you created through the combination of you and your camera - it's the thought process expressed in your notes and the resulting image. You were even thorough enough to consider a soft bokeh for a background - that blew me away.
I am giving this my last six, because the existence of the beautiful simple looking piece is due to your skill in transferring the image from your minds lens to reality.
It all boils down to what you did is demonstrate what it takes to be a 'shooter' ... Bob
