This is just gorgeous! The Luna Moth in its Monty green color with off white accents could not have chosen a better place to land , the purple flowers are just lovely and it's that purple/ green combination that makes this such a winner!
This is of course, well focused, this image is sharp and clear, exposure is correct, colors and tones appear natural, the moth is perfectly placed within the frame, I love the way the light is falling upon the moth .
Well composed and presented! This is truly a pleasure to view , wonderful entry for this contest ! Very best wishes to you !

Thanks so very much for the great review and comments. This is a set up shot, the moth is real, and very much alive, one from several caterpillars that I reared last summer and that overwintered in their cocoons until emerging late this spring. Fortunately it coincided with the blooming of the dame?s rockets near the house. It, like the others, was released in the evening.
