The urban mix of styles is not my favorite idea on how to expand old neighborhoods. The mind of an architect is constantly working on new concepts that will fit and improve old stagnant cityscapes. THis is probably the leading edge of more concepts of revitalizing old inner cityscapes. The POV of this shot is outstanding as it really shows off the contrast.

This is an amazing photo Nikman where even the most modern building actually looks great. Even if I do like the old brick buildings even better.
The photo is sharp showing such clear and well defined details in all the buildings, and the exposure is perfect.
The format and framing is very good, and with the car off to the right, it is a fine balance in the composition. A truly lovely and well taken photo.

Only in Europe will you find multiple layers of period architecture. Over here anything as old as what you show would be torn down and replaced - at least in the larger cities this would be the case.
Classic lines of the older buildings contrast nicely with the modern architecture style.
Colors are consistent with inner city under overcast light.
Well framed for maximum eye appeal.

I'm such a fan of your work nikman.. I especially enjoy city scenery and the buildings look old and vintage but clean and kept. The coloring of the buildings, the reds and the earthy tones of the adds to the art and character of the photo. Perfect shot!
