I love this. These zebra looking fish look so happy and relaxed in their environment. Your digital art is very well done.

Your colours are realistic and your work is fantastic

I think Zebra fish sounds much better than sheepshead fish, but they are anyway looking very good with the white and black stripes. They are all done paying a very good attention to details, and I especially like they get more faded the longer away they are. This creates such a fantastic DOF.

The colors look great as well, and I like the way the light is playing over the bottom of the sea.

The format and framing is perfect, and with the fine placement of all the fish, it is a very good balance in the composition. A truly lovely and well done digital painting Allan.

Just looking at this piece I can tell that these guys are prized friends and from the care and deliberateness of the digital efforts employed you thoroughly enjoy this hobby - kudos.

Your digital creative skills are well exercised with this fine take. The color palette is consistent with the environment and appear natural and over saturated.

As with all digital reformatting fine detail ie - scales and detail of marine vegetation is absent. This is completely acceptable since dynamic detail is not what this piece is focused on - its the story wrapped up in the scene.

This is a fine example of digital reformatting and display ... Bob

Thanks much Bob for your experienced analysis of this painting. In the real world one would not get this much detail due to light diffraction in water, but that is the fun of painting, nature conforms to your wishes! : )
