Oh .. You gotta sell it harder than that. She's not even looking at ya. So strut your best feathers and do what ya do. Hope you make her see that its you. And keep this in mind shy is just a cover for emotions in kind.
Seems like there's a lot happening in your bird world.
Once again dead stop action sets the scene and projects the drama on the encounter.
Color, lighting, and exposure are all spot on perfect for the action being captured.
Fine intuitive capture ... Bob

A good looking nature image posted here together with an amusing title! Your fine and appropriate composition offers us an enjoyable view of a courting moment. Sharpness and exposure are good. Nicely taken!

Nice shot. We have a lot of cormorants around the canals of Fort Lauderdale. To build up the land for houses, they dug canals behind each block and piled that dirt up where they built the homes. Small fish are in the canals now, and the cormorants and herons hunt them.

This cormorant lady actually looks shy, and the male has a big grin on his face. LOL This is actually quite a funny scene, and you have pictured it so well.
It is also a sharp photo showing clear and well defined details in both birds, and the exposure is very good.
I like the format you have cropped the photo into, and also the placement of the birds within the frame. A fun and well taken photo Fred.

This is a fine shot of a cormorant showing off. These are big birds, I have two in a pond by me. This picture shows they have large wings and the female is paying attention and is starting her own show. Very nicely presented. Ray

Fred,
I think it may be just his son or daughter busy preening while both of them are drying their wings, while perched on fallen branches. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Witty and somewhat mischievous title. The cormorants are lovely, especially the one on the right because its' lighter tail feather shows more. I would like to see their features a little better with more distinction between the birds and background, and especially with the bird on the left.
