A beautiful picture of the Cob Mute Swan walking on the water to get lift while flapping his wings so he can airborne. The sunshine highlighting his head, neck wing & feet. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques& sharp focus.

You have pictured this running swan so well, and I like how well you have captured the water splashes. The stop action is just perfect, and the swan is standing out from the background in an excellent way.
The photo is sharp showing clear and well defined details in every part of the swan, and the exposure and white balance is perfect.
The format and tight framing is working well, and the swan has been given room to move into. A truly lovely and well taken photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

This is a very good picture that is well lit and in focus, and complies with the requirements of the Take-offs and Landings competition so well done. There is a great deal of movement in this which means you were very clever to capture it. I like this picture so good luck with it.
