What an adorable little fellow! That expression is something else. He looks like he's come over to borrow a cup of sugar, lol. Great shot.

Thank you so very much for your lovely review!

At first glance I thought it was a large hand behind the squirrel and he was looking up at the person - then realized it is the background behind tree branch. Great timing to catch the little squirrel - I totally love that brush tail which is shown with such clarity. Your focus, exposure and dof are excellent.

Nicely framed image with the tree on the bottom and left. I like the colours in the BG, as there is a nice compliment in the softer colours of the fur of the squirrel, which brings the image together nicely. Well done and thanks for sharing.

Wow this is excellent

I love the sharpness of the squirrel. At first I thought the background behind the squirrel was a rock. It threw me off with it sitting on a tree branch.
However, I realized after its my eyes that must be the sky with trees blurred in the background. My eyes are starting to play tricks on me these days.

Exceptional edit and photography skills are done here.

Great job.

What an adorable little critter. I get a lot of squirrels in my yard too but none of them look as precious as this one. I wonder what he's looking at, a bird, a plane, or perhaps...?

This is adorable, Pat! Love this little guy looking upward, framed on one side by the tree trunk, his little paws, held in front. Very well focused, the texture of the fur is well seen as are the whiskers and his bushy tail, beautiful catchlight in that bright eye as he gazes upward. A very sweet image!

This is so cute!!
What a great shot you have captured here! I love the detailing visible in the fuzzy tail! He seems very entranced in something above for sure. The blurred backdrop almost makes it look like a painting. Very cool! Well done!

He is a shaggy little fellow. I guess they have to be up in the great white north. Mine are very sleek by comparison. I have six, and they do NOT like to share. I have to put sunflower seeds in six different places, or chaos ensues.

He is adorable and you captured a good pose, but what is the immediate background, looks somewhat placed? The log is nice and the whole is nice. I don't see the red I usually see in red squirrels, but he is lovely.

Wow! What a pose. He is adorable and you did such a beautiful capture of it all.
Comment from FBI GUY

The precise focus allows u to count his tail hairs. Great shallow DOF that gives a feeling of a 3D scene. The construction of the scene with the tree forming a frame for his pose and the lighter background allows us a great look at your little friend. Cute is just cute.
