Congratulations on your winning placement with this lovely photograph. Those feathers are so lovely, in their earth colors. Your witty theme and title are both really nice.

Wow Linda! This is a beautiful capture ! the green heron appears to be so alert , I love the raised crest ! It's a perfect placement within the frame and I like the way it is on the diagonal at the edge of the water as it looks for fish.
Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is correct, colors snd tones appear
natural.
Well composed and presented!

It looks like the bird has a Mohawk. Fantastic photo, but the apostrophe turned into a question mark in the title. Doh! Don't you hate when that happens?

Yes I don?t understand why it does that. I was business analyst and these things can be corrected by the analysts working on this site.
Thank you so much for your awesome review and rating :)

A good looking nature image posted here! Your fine and classical composition offers us an enjoyable view of that lovely bird. Yes, its expression does suggest it is worried about what to eat out there. Sharpness and exposure are good. Well taken!

Great shot of this green heron! I love the mane standing up on top of his head, I haven't seen it that puffed up before. He is rocking out! Good focus and exposure. Nicely balanced composition. Thanks for sharing

Hi Linda!
That's a fine looking photograph of this popular avian creature,my friend!
It's head plumage reminds me of the 'fur' I'm drawing one of my prehistoric animals with!
'Good Show'!
