Very cool. The angle of the shot of this ram by the tree checking you out is great. The clarity is great. The capture of the light is great. The presentation is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall.

This is a beautiful winter outdoor shot. The light is good. The colours are natural. Overall it has been composed well with interesting foreground and background all adding to the interest of the main subject. Thanks for sharing!

It looks so cold and bleak on that windswept hill!
I very much like your composition here, so simple and yet so effective. The image is sharp and the colours are good.
Nice one, thanks for sharing.

Cool!
I would think that it was looking for trouble rather than just resting but ... what do I know about A Bighorn Ram's behavior?
: D
I DO know that I'm enjoying this nicely-presented picture a Lot!
'Good Show',Montana!

This is a good photograph with quite a unique angle. Only suggestion I'd have for the future is zooming in more, making the animal more noticeable, but it's still a great photo as is.

Thank you, Chapel. I actually was more zoned in on the tree with the ram an added bonus. I appreciate your comments!

This is the finest example of tight white balance control I've seen in some time. And there's a lot of white to control in this take.
In general the camera settings are point on target.
The diagonal use of the rule of thirds makes for a very attractive frame.
The color palette is near monochrome. Contrast is short scale but that only makes the images standout more plainly.
If you find yourself in this situation again maybe zoom in closer or crop tighter in post production.
This take is a really fine nature take, one to be proud of ... Bob

This is quite an intriguing scene with the snowy diagonal hill, and still the tree being straight. The ram resting under it adds a lot to this photo, and both the tree and the animal are standing out well from the sky.
The photo is sharp showing clear and well defined details both in the tree and the ram, and the exposure and white balance is perfect.
The format and framing is very good, and with the tree off to the left, it is a very good balance in the composition. I think this is a lovely and well taken photo Ruth Ann, and with an excellent DOF.

This bighorn Ram appears to be at the top of a butte resting quietly adjacent to a lone windswept tree. This is a really great shot, probably one of many if you were at Yellowstone. Thank you Ruth Ann for sharing. Ray

A desolate and frigid looking shot! I like the sharp angle of the hill and the contrasts between the snow and the other three objects. Well focused and nicely atmospheric to tell us the story of this lonely big horn. Thanks for sharing!

This photograph is well lit and in focus and I think that the use of landscape mode is just right as it accentuates the slope of the hill. I would have tried to get a little closer but accept that that may not have been possible.
