Congratulations on your All Time Best well deserved for the timing of capturing this moose nibbling on the branches. Colors appear natural and your focus and composition are great.

Wow, this is so cool. The idea that you had a 1200 lb. moose this close to your home. Lighting, focus and crop are perfect. The air chilled breath is a perfect accent to the scene. The dark fur coat and dark background still has enough contrast to have this big guy stand out in the scene. Amazing shot.

How lucky for you to have these beautiful creature around! this is a great photo of this cow moose as she helps herself to your birch tree. It's definitely cold, seeing her breath, and i like the light dusting of snow on her fur. Just a wonderful photo!

Pat, an amazing find and capture!

To think a moose could just amble into someone's yard is just mind boggling to me

Great visual with the cold breath as she reaches for the birch tree. I imagine you cannot get too close to them?

Thank you so much Eileen! Yes. The moose are frequent visitors to my neighborhood and my yard! Great shot of this cow Moose!! I have always thought these creatures are so majestic! I haven't seen one up close, I hope I do some day. Down here we have had a string of coyote attacks, I would rather have the moose! Great composition and details in this close up. The foggy breath is impressive. Thanks for sharing

What a fine capture up close of this lovely cow moose. Your capture of her breath so visible makes her face pop a little more. Thanks for sharing. So many animals and places are so interesting. Interesting info also.

This is a fantastic well-focused picture that is well lit. The bits of snow on her fur are great and I just love the smokey breath beneath her head. I think that the birch bits were a good sacrifice just to get such a wonderful picture.

Wow Pat, this is an unique photograph of the moose as he is deeply breathing to get the the bark from the tree. I hope they don't eat the the whole tree.
I had dears coming and eating everything they can find; consequently we had to somehow fence the whole property, but they still come to visit behind the fence.
Great image, I wish I still had six stars to give.
