Well done Ray! A presentation of fine details against an abstract background that is immensely appealing! I like that all of the colors of the jelly beans are in the background which lends an wonderful balance. Nice entry to the contest, best wishes!

A good looking image posted here! Your fine and appropriate composition offers us an enjoyable view of those beans in that nice glass. Looks like someone was careless. Colours, textures and tones are good. Well painted!

Ooh Ray I love this one too. Your abstract provides such an eclectic background for the jelly beans. What's more interesting is the jelly beans don't fade into the abstract colors- even though they have the same colors in them. Brilliant work my friend. This deserves 6 stars.

It is a really fine still life you have created here, and the bowl with jelly beans is really well done. I especially like the fine shine you have brought out in the glass, and also a dot of high light in each bean. This is so well done that I almost wish the background was less abstract. I do like it though, and the colors of the jelly beans are picked up in it.
The format and framing is fine, and the bowl of jelly beans is well placed off to the left. This is indeed a lovely and well done still life Ray, and I wish you luck with the contest.
