Beautiful photograph of these two Lemurs, hugging each other.
Perfect placement within the frame and the framing with the tree trunks makes a wonderful frame.
Great details and colors with an. unique contest. Thank you for sharing.

Those eyes! Amazing photo catch. The monotone color works well also highlighting the main subjects. Well done catching such a delicate photo

Talk about timing. how lucky you were to see this rare sight. I love the little guys and have only seen them in zoos. The Sidney Zoo has a nice exhibit along with the koalas. We got to get up close and personal for a second in Sidney. The animal keeper was so generous with her time and what she allowed us an up-close look. Your focus and lighting is excellent and the crop is perfect. Great catch.

A beautiful picture if the Sportive Lemur holding on tight to her pup in her arms. Framed in the crook of a tree between the trunk & a branch their wide amber eyes watching you closely. Artistic composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

They're fascinating creatures,aren't they?
They remind me of giant Asian fruit-eating bats
( the Flying Foxes ) but with arms instead of wings! : D
Your photograph of this pair looks Great!

    Thank you.
Yes they are fascinating and there are over 100 species of them of all different sizes, from the Mouse Lemur weighing 1.1 oz to the Indri who weigh around 20 lb!

Cool! They remind me of certain prehistoric 'proto primates' like the long extinct 'Notharctus'!

Ha ha I can?t agree or disagree as I have no idea what a northarctus looks like - you?ll have to do me a drawing!

From the drawings of them that I've seen they looked a lot like these Lemurs do! : )

I wonder who took this photo of lemurs in Madagascar? I hate it when it says, "Artist information not displayed for this contest," because I don't know who posted it!

A good looking nature image posted here! Your fine and full composition offers us a good example of framing of those cute lemurs. Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely done!

An excellently framed nature piece. The colors in general are near monochrome but look natural and not over saturated.

The exposure is fast enough to suspend all motion.

The lighting is even bright allowing for attractive contrast and color tone.

Well gotten shot, and a rare one at that ... Bob

This Lemur with her pup looks truly cute, and especially their big eyes are captured. The tree is framing them in such a natural way, and they are also standing out really well from the background.

The photo is sharp showing such clear and well defined details to be seen in both animals, and the exposure is very good.

The tight cropping is working well and the lemurs are well placed within the frame. This is a truly lovely, sweet and well taken photo, and I wish you luck with the contest.
