This eagle is well in focus and well lit. It is an amazing action shot but the bird is practically in the middle of the picture. I think that I would have tried to get it more to the right hand side to show that it was flying towards something perhaps.
This is a great picture nevertheless so good luck with it

This is one fine capture of this bald eagle in flight as he gets read to land. The yellow colors stand out and add to the beauty. this demonstrates the power of this bird as he glides by. Good luck in the contest. Ray

The eagle with its golden feathers and claws, as well as feathers toward the front is beautiful. The head is almost like it is made of gold as is a small spray of wings. The sky and a few limbs, pine needles on branches fairly good. Best wishes in the contest.

His clear eye is well done but I'm not sure I agree with his golden light against the gray background, the contradiction of lighting is a bit puzzling to the eye (at least mine). I admire the amount of work this took however. Best wishes for the contest.

Not sure what tweaks you did for the scene but it has a very strong artistic feel. The tight DOF give a strong sharp look at the eagle. The shallow focal plane continues the feeling of an almost 3D feel to the flight. Lighting is very interesting and well captured.
