Your semi-abstract woodpecker is fine and different. Nice attempt indeed. Those wings and the reds on the head are lovely. Rather fine digital art. The sky is lovely with the blues and scattered clouds. This work indeed depicts flight and best wishes in the contest.

I really like this and think you did a great job in digitally creating this woodpecker .we do not have the pileated woodpecker here, but I have seen photos of them.
The bird is well shaped and structured, I like the in flight position as well as it's position within the frame,
It appears that the bird is flying against the blue sky with nice , puffy white clouds.
Very well created and presented! Best wishes to you in this contest!

Cool!
It looks more like an Actual bird than an 'Abstract' one to me but I think that it looks Terrific either way and I'm enjoying it very much!

I like this bold colored bird!! You have given him/her great details of feather and face and his soaring motion is clear to see against the blue cloud dotted sky. I may have shifted the placement right or left for a bit more interest but still a nicely done work. Best wishes for the contest!

He looks like a happy go lucky flying bundle of a carefree bird. Great colors and full wingspan. The mottled blue sky adds to the cheerful feeling of the scene. He is well placed in the scene.
