I think you have captured the calculating nature and its cunning attitude.

The shade of blue used for the eye is a fine counterpoint.

The overall color of the central subject is bold and bright making it very easy to look at. Nice touch outlining the lower canines - makes it all the more dramatic.

The graduated background is a pleasant touch - it is softer than an all black background. This one pushes the Leopard to the front.

I see a well thought out and pleasingly presented piece of original digital art - Kudos ... Bob

Painting the portraits of wild animals can be very challenging and it requires lots of tolerance, good understanding of their behaviour and one's own will power and perseverance! You seem to be having a generous dose of it. Lovely work! Thanks for sharing! Good luck!

This is a big WOW for you. 300. I love this snow leopard, he has blue eyes. All those spots , I would have gone crazy, but you have done a stellar job. Linda you have a Knack choosing these eye catching subjects and this portrait of the Snow Leopard proves it. Ray

And once again, your talent explodes! This is done remarkably well. I like that the background gets lighter toward the bottom. The detail, color and contrast of this cute cat deserves to be hung in my opinion.

Snowball? Looks like this animal (whatever its name is) just made a meatball out of Snowball! Snow leopards have names like Icepick, Yeti, or Frostbite. You did a REALLY good job on this, Linda. Good luck in the contest, and congrats on your 300th post!

Congratulations on your milestone post!
The snow leopard looks like it has just finished a meal ,I like the way it cleans the fur around its mouth !
Well shaped , with good proportions , I like the blue eyes!
The leopard is well placed within the space and I love its white coat with the spots , I bet that took some time to apply all of the spots.
Well created, and presented!

Yes it did take sometime. I did spots then silly me i went and added hair streaks. Then I was like I have to go back and darken spots. That took awhile. Then I made markings not quite spots and done fits everywhere. It was fun this piece though. I?m gonna do one again but on a canvas and using acrylic paints. Just waiting for my art too to be finished. Hubby is fixing it up to accommodate me due to my hip issues.

Thank you so much your review again. I so appreciate you! Happy New Year!

I can see the great effort you put into this wonderful digital artwork. Exceptional work on the tongue. Great details in the beautiful coat. Nicely balanced with colors. I like the subdued background. It really works well with the colors and textures. Good luck in the animal contest!
