What a great angle to view this cute little bird and excellent choice for the letter N contest.
I love the detail in his breast feathers. Colours are good, nothing distracting in the background and excellent composition.

I think he was looking for treats, this was taken at a busy walking trail and people were feeding the squirrels and ducks, these guys are like the chickadees we have, they actually fly to our hands for peanuts

Very often I see these birds in my garden, and find them very pretty. I especially like your vantage point with the unusual perspective, and also how well the bird is standing out from the background.
The photo is sharp and it is such clear and well defined details to be seen in the feathers of the bird, and the exposure is perfect.
The format and framing is very good, and the bird has got a fine placement off to the right. I think this is a lovely and well taken photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

I believe you could win on the cuteness of this little fellow alone but your photography and angle of the bird and the tree is very clever. With a face like that one etc., the judges might just give you the blue ribbon. I hope the contest rolls in your favor.
