Well done, it did make me smile. I really like how you made it look kind of 3d. In the picture you can really see in the cars eyes how he can't wait for the mouse to fall. This is my favourite out if the final three, well done again.

This painting indeed bring a smile to my face, and especially the acrobatic mouse is well done. I can't see a cat patently waiting, with admiration in its eyes, for the mouse to fall down though. LOL
The frame and the all dark background looks great, and I like the little detail with the taped wire. This painting is also done paying a very good attention to details, and with a good use of high lights.
The square format is perfect, and with the cat off to the right balanced by the mouse to the left, it is a very good balance in the composition. A truly funny, sweet and well done painting, and I wish you luck with the contest.
